A 1974 Accuquartz in very good condition, with original box. Posted with kind permission of the owner, M.H. A gift from his wife on the occasion of their 25th Anniversary.
The Case back is stamped N3, the movt is stamped N4.
Nice one Rob.
I think this movt has eight jewels, but no way to input the number. I may end up servicing this one, it is a wee bit erratic. I spoke with Bulova today and they said they will only replace these movts with the quartz equivalent IF the watch in question is solid gold. Swatch has a similar policy with old Omegas.
It is of interest to note that the quartz Bulova replacement is now also discontinued. That means once the stock is used up, no more conversions.
Guess I had better start buying up any I see. Ha Ha.
Ijust dont do quartz watches. I have one, a Bulova pocket watch and it needs a new movement but I haven't tried to get one yet.

'74 Accuquartz it is. Nice looking watch.
Curious Rev, was MH married in '73 or did he celebrate his 25th in '73 ( which would make this is 65th )?
His 25th was in 1974. He and his wife are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary next year.
