I thought I had seen this one on mybulova before I picked this one up but now I can't seem to find it. It is dated 1972 on the case and on the 11AOCD movement on an aftermarket bracelet. The Stainless steel case has what looks to be a plated fluted bezel (not noted on caseback) with a blue colored inner ring next to the crystal. This compliments the bullseye two-toned blue rings on the dial. The date has a quickset function. The hands and hour markers are lumed. I haven't been able to find a match in the ads.
I nice mid-century modern beauty. I had to look at the watch a second time closely to see the added blue bezel ring on the inner side of the fluted bezel. 1972 Bulova Sea King "HF" according to the 1973 Bulova Line book. The aftermarket bracelet is a close match to the original. Well done.

That was quick! I think I was correct then when I thought that I had seen it here on MB. I didn't find it again as I was searching by date and movement and the other copy in the database doesn't have the movement noted so didn't show up in the search.
good match...Sea King "HF"
Sea King is a good match. Love that blue dial!
