This appears to be a 1972 Bulova Jet Star. The movement is white with red and blue markers and hands. The 11BSACB 17J movement with an N2 date code. The case back also has N2 date code. I love this model.
From what I can tell, the Jet Star A and B are identical, but the A uses the link bracelet and the B uses a strap.
I would go with the B variant since there is no original bracelet, but either would work.

Really great looking watch Jim, congrats.
1972 Bulova Jet Star "B"
Variant gets fuzzy on this one. It's on a bracelet, so it's an "A" on a replacement...or it's a "B" on a replacement.. If I was going to pick based on watch as represented, I'd go with "A" or no variant.

Nice watch!
1972 Bulova Jet Star "B"
I love the dial on these watches. I agree that it's a B but for an entirely different reason than the strap/bracelet and this is the beauty of the Line Books
