Here is an easy one. I picked this one up for the nice dial and to have it for parts, might be hard to replace one of those stones if I ever lost one. Nice to have another example for the DB as well. Haven't cleaned this one up yet. This one is really pretty in person and I enjoy wearing the one I already have. Like this one https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1973-first-lady-ab-12712
Bulova First Lady "AB"
I was fully expecting to see 14KT on the back of the case. Certainly looks like a gold watch. Perfect match. 1972 Bulova First Lady "AB". I bet the white with aquamarine would be an interesting look.

Yes I agree I would have expected these to be 14K with all the real gemstones. I am keeping my eye out for the aquamarine, I bet it is nice as well.
Very nice little watch and a great advert and linebook entry to match.

Also looks like the rhodolite gemstone is a descent stone.

Thank you. I had to look up rhodolite, a type of garnet that is not as dark as a regular garnet and was pleased to find it is a nice gemstone and on the rare side. Both rhodolite and aquamarine are on the harder side for gemstones and contain no or few inclusions. Both nice choices by Bulova!
A nice addition to your collection and an excellent ad match!

Thanks Geoff! Funny that a watch well outside of my normal collecting has become one of my daily wearers.
