I would say that it is a "First Lady" variant "K" as in attached advert from sixties
Your watch was probably the indications movement M4 made in 1964, on the case is also visible 4
I agree that this should be dated to 1964.
I also found several different variants for this style:
H in 64
G in 65-66
K in 67
I think we can rule out the H, since it is a white gold version, but it does look to show a dial with the groove-like pattern. The other ads show a simple dial, or perhaps just lack enough detail.
The subject watch could be either the G or K, but we don't know which is yellow or white; and the subject watch looks to be a combination of white and yellow, which could also be another variant not found in ads.
I would go with First Lady no variant

Here are some 'after' photos. Just finished servicing the movement and case. At some point the original band was replaced with this Spiedel USA rhinesonte-studded model which doesn't look half-bad really. Personally I wouldn't mix diamonds with rhinestones.
