I Inherited this lovely ladies watch from my mother. I believe it says M5 for 1965, but not sure. It is 10K rolled gold plated with sprinkled diamonds and it winds up. It is a Champion and is indicated on the closing latch of the bracelet. It is in perfect condition. I had it repaired once, and the owner of the store offered me $1500 seven years ago, so I assume it has monetary value, but couldn't part with it. I would like to know the Model name and history regarding this Bulova beauty. Thank you! Mari163
Not sure about # of Movement jewels.
'Champion' is the manufacurer of the bracelet, not the Name of the Watch Model.
looks earlier than '65 ?

Thank you for the information. How can I determine the year of the watch? It looks like it says M5 but it's a bit worn. The Watch does look like an earlier model as I believe my mother purchased it before I was born, so it would be a Bulova watch from the late 50's or early 60's.
Can you post some pictures of the back of the watch, and maybe open the case for a picture of the inside case back and the mechancal movement? This would help folks here in the ID'ing process.
I am not sure why this one is called a Champion. It seems to be a Leading Lady "I".

Jim is right, she's a Leading Lady. I'm skipping a variant as the advert states both yellow and white, maybe I can find something in a line book,
1965 Bulova Leading lady
Bulova First Lady "I" is the yellow gold version, "J" is for white gold version.
