I think your ID is correct. 1969 Bulova Sea King DM noting the Whale on dial.

Thanks for confirming all the info! It was a great find from a local gentleman. Very excited to have it in my collection.
As an anecdotal story, Sag Harbor, New York, was home to a Bulova watchcase factory for many years, until the late 1970s or 1980s. Growing up there, the lore was that the Sea King and Clipper models were made at that factory, as Sag Harbor was a major whaling town for centuries.
