Please help identify, if possible the model of this Bulova watch. The caseback has serial number Z290656 placed on bottom of the case. Top of case first line; BULOVA M9, second line; 0015 GOLD, third line; ELECTROPLATE BEZEL, fourth line; RGP Back Face has two hand and ROMAN NUMERALS. NO second hand. I was unable to open case to look at movement - I did not have appropriate tools. Thanks for your help
Thank you for posting your watch. This one is a rare one indeed and the first for our database. Based on our 1969 Linebook BAWD0172 page 13 this apperas to be a 1969 Bulova President "G". All depends on the dial. If the dial is silver then it is an F and gold it is a G. It looks gold to me so I am going with G

Hi JimDon5822
I was looking again at the description of the watch and I have a couple of questions that maybe you or anyone else might be able to answer.
1) When was production of this model ended, or is it still available?
2) There were 2 prices; $29 and $65. Does the first refer to 1969 cost of model F and the latter to model G?
3) the band looks metallic- do you have any idea where I could get one?
Thanks

Production ended a long time ago. I haven't dug into it, but if I had to guess based on how few of these any of us have encountered, it was likely a one to three year production. Band is flexible metal links with a scissor or Speidel style expansion in the middle. Similar to this,
Best bet is ebay to find one close.
The prices in the linebook are dealer cost and suggested retail for both models described. Based on inflation $65 in 1969 is the equivalent of $498 in 2022.
