Very nice example of the 1969 Bulova Oceanographer G. Thanks for sharing it Joe.

I love the way Bulova incorporated their B into the self winding rotor.

What is the thoughts of the panel about the text on the dial?

3 lines of text at the top of the dial, 2 at the bottom. Is that something exclusive to 1969? I can't find dials similar from any other year.

I agree that this is a ....  OCEANOGRAPHER SNORKEL G ... an early one prior to BULOVA finally settling with the TEXT configuration on the dial that everyone knows ...  i have seen what we might call odd placement of text on oceanographer dials floating around ...  I do have an example of a 1969 with what I suppose BULOVA decided on what the dial will be ...1969 Oceanographer Snorkel G
