A stainless steel cased Spaceview has been a sort of "grail watch" of mine for a long time now. About a year ago I finally pulled the trigger on this one. 1969 is the perfect year too, the year we made it to the moon.
Movement is dated M8. May be an early 1969 with a movement made in 1968?
Appears from the ads to be a Spaceview "G".
It's such a gorgeous and unique watch. I still can't believe I own one.

That's actually a good question. I'm not sure if they changed at a certain point in time. I think the first Spaceviews predominetly had it at the 12 position and later at the 9 or 6 position as styles varied, but I could be totally wrong.
This advert shows it used in various positions, although I think it was only used at the 12 and 9 on Spaceviews.....again I could be wrong.
