23J Selfwinding Calendar - M8 F792601
Possibly a 'Time Center'? The designation requires that the band have the small calendar usually associated with the model. Still looking.
I acquired the watch without the original band - I have a replacement leather strap installed in the interim.
I looked high and low and can't find an exact match. I'm thinking this is a Date King variant. 1964 Ad below obviously isn't a match (per jewel count) but is really close.

I'm thinking Date King or perhaps Sea King or President? My gut says Date King.
It's an unusual movement and that's what makes me wonder. I can't find a lot of info on which watches used it other than the Time Center, which we have in the db. It's an in house 23 jewel, and follows the 10BPAC series which ended in the late fifties. This one started in 1965 and doesn't seem that common. I have no end date, but would probably be in the 70's.
It's possible that it was used in similar watches like the Date KIng, but I'm not seeing any examples with this movt.

Excellent point, Rob. It seems that this movement in 17, 23 and 30 jewels was used in the "Time Center", and the band with scrolling calendar is what made it special.
The other "special feature" may well have been the movement series.
We currently have only two examples ID'ed as Time Center in the Db, one on a calendar band and one without. They are also the only two examples of this movement in the Db.
I would be OK with Time Center tentative based on the unusual in house movement.
I'm also unable to match this one in our ads, but it could very well be from the Date King line. I'm going to go with Unknown model at this time.
Unknown it´s for me too
Unable to find an exact match.
Unknown at this time.
If it wasn't for the unusual movt I'd be ok with a tentative Date King ID, but as it stands, there is something special about this one and I have to say Unknown.
Found another advert showing the same watch but with a 30 jewel movement, listed as President / Date King. Confussing isn't it.
