Commander "AQ".
Could the root info box be updated with case SN, case back date (M7), Shape and jewel count please?
There's several round Commander variants in the watch and ad database from this time period. There is no other ad from this period showing this shaped case being anything but a "commander"- and it isn't round like the others commanders.
While this may very well turn out not to be the Commander AQ, I think it is best described as the Commander AQ because this name distinguishing it from the other "round" Commanders.

Is subject watch what you'de call a "silvertone dial"? It's sure not green or copper.

I think both advert "Q" descriptions pretty much describe this watch exactly.

Bobbee Do you remember/know the date of the above ad? Its not part of the graphic file name.
Gary, is the Movement Model correct? With the D in the model it would seem to indicate that this should be a "date" watch.
