I inherited this watch and a Hamilton Emerson from my grandfather and they have been in my drawer for the past 25 years. Thought I might start wearing them now:)!

Bill - I think family pieces are the best, how cool it is that you have not one but TWO watches from your grandfather! Please make grand dad proud by having them serviced if you're going to wear them. They've made through the first 48 years, regular professional service should get them through the next 48 or so, then you can pass them on to the next generation.
