1965 Bulova Commander 'D'
Case is .0015 Electroplate (stamped inside caseback) with a stainless back dated M5. Dial is gold with a white/cream center, luminous hands and dots. Movement is the 30-Jewel 10COAC, selfwinding, unable to locate a datestamp. Replacement expansion band.

Thank You. These electroplate finishes are more difficult to work with than gold plated or filled.

Yes, I found that to be very true. I really like the gold filled best.
Another stunner from the work bench of Mr Anderson, well done Ken the dial is remarkable. I think this is one of the finest watches Bulova made in the 60's. Love it in the original clam shell, looks brand spanking new!
