Hey All, Sorry i havent posted in a few weeks. I have many more Bulovas to post , but here is a nice one i cant seem to put a name to. It LOOKS similar to a Yankee Clipper and a Beau Brummel from the early 1960's , But the case is slightly different. And the hands look differentThe inside of the watch case back is stamped with "Bulova 5th avenue".The case has odd , almost scalloped lugs. The case is 10kt rolled gold with a stainless steel back. Its a Automatic 17 jewel 11alac movement in the watch . I got the watch as part of a estate auction , about 200 watches dead in a igloo cooler was sold to me about a half year back. The watch showed signs of wanting to work, and that attracts me more than just about anything to a watch . It makes me want to fix it for some reason, a weakness in me for sure lol. It ran slow when it did. So it needed a good cleaning and lube . I polished the case. I also removed all the old brow radium lume from the dial and the hands , and relumed it myself. And i polished the crystal . I have the original stretch band ,which is capped with 10kt rolled gold, but i cant stand wearing the stretchy steel bands. They all rip my arm hair out. So i put it on a decent looking olive nato strap. I found a picture online of a similar dialed watch from 1964 , according to the ebay ad. The dial is the same , but red . And the case appears the same. And all of my watches are for sale, but i cant seem to get the "for sale"indicator to work on any of my posts. Thanks in advance for looking, and any thoughts as to the watch.

1960 sees this watch simply named the 'American Clipper' with no variant.
