I believe this is an American Girl model but cannot validate. By the L8 Movement, I believe it is 1958 but not positive. It is 10K Gold Filled. It is overwound and I'm not sure how to free the spring. Enclosing a photo of inside movement.

just look closely at the back case it seem to be a L9. mmovement are 1958.
so its a 1959.

Yes- watch is a 1958 Bulova American Girl Y. I suggest you have it professionally serviced if you want to wear it.
I was actually just able to get the watch running by watching a YouTube video to disengage the click and release the main spring. Now to figure out whether to keep or sell!

Claimed success too early. Ran all night but now stopped working and now don't get any resistance from click when winding :(
