The watch was fully refurbished in 2024.

Great job on the restoration. 1957 Bulova Surfmaster "A" is a good match.

Thanks. As further info on the watch, it belonged to my Dad. I found it in a box of “stuff” after he died in 2009. In the box was a late 60s Omega, an early 60s Benrus, a 1905 Elgin pocket watch, a 1907 Hamilton pocket watch, an early 1900s Hampden pocket watch, and the Bulova. I’ve had all but the Hampden restored. Each of these are beautiful pieces. Amazing that they can be restored and continue to keep time. Really appreciate the info I’ve learned from this site.

It's wonderful that you inherited your father watch collection., without even knowing he had a collection.
Being able to restore a vintage watch to this condition is testament to the original quality of the watch. Bulova watches, despite what many may think certainly fall into that group.
