Believe this to be a 1956 President "P". Updated pics when it arrives.

This one needs a bit of work, beyond my meagre skills. At the very least a new crystal and movement overhaul.
Can anyone recommend a good watch repair/overhaul location? I'm located in Northern Alberta, Canada.
Mike
Mike, I used to live in Alberta, but that was 7 years ago. I remember watchmakers in both Edmonton and Calgary, but I don't have the contact info. Regardless, you'll probably have to mail it in from where you are. Last time I was in Fort Mac there was nobody.
In reply to Mike, I used to live in by Reverend Rob
Thanks, Rev. I don't mind mailing it out, and I'll check Calgary next time I'm down visiting.
"Winter is coming" is the unofficial Cold Lake motto right about now, although it's getting up to 27 C today, that won't last long.

Great find Mike, and a first sight of the 1956 President "P".
The grainy adds makes it hard to tell but I see enough to agree.
Nice find Mike - I would re-dial this one.
President P
President "P". Mike, why don't you PM Rev Rob about the work on your watch?? He is one of the best and is there in Canada.
President "P", nice watch
I would agree with Geoff on having the dial refinished, case buffed, new crystal and band. That would be a really sharp watch for daily use. I'm sure Rev Rob could take of any other servicing as well.
Thanks, all. I'm definitely going to give this one the "treatment". It's such a classic look, and the diamonds really "fit in".
I was unaware that Rev Rob was in the refinishing business... I haven't been lurking here all that long. I'd definitely like to give him the work, if he's available! Now to figure out how to PM someone...
