Watch Description

JP owns this watch.   Outside Case Back:  Bulova Watch Co, Stainless Steel Back, Anti-Magnetic, Shock Resistant, Waterproof (w/ star insignia).   Inside Case Back:  Bulova Watch Co, Case Made In France  Movement:  11ACC 17 jewel with L6 stamped on it.  The entire watch is stainless and the key in the photos is the key to open the waterproof back and it is stamped Bulova Watch Company made in France. The dial is white background with silver linnen dots. Numerals are raised silver and hands are silver luminous with blued sweep second hand. Watch runs well and seems to keep pretty good time according to the timer. About +- 1 minute per 24 hours.

L6 on movement and 5 for first number of case serial number.

Good call Mark, looks like the date could be 54,55 or 56 to me. Just too hard to make out.

Navigator works for me if the date is right.

JP  I'm not seeing the pic of the case back opening tool.  The 4th picture in root record (stamped Bulova Watch Company, Made in France) looks like the inside of the case back, not a tool/key.

...and 1956 Navigator from me too.
