movement has L4 on it caseback has L6 on it
So if I'm reading old post correctly if the crystal has a curve to all sides its a Ivanhoe, however if it only curves length ways its a Harrington.

Do We have an actual ad for this model?

Not that I can find. I believe this all stems form a crystal ID from Scott many moons ago.
Wow, I just re-read that post. Not so sure I want to comment on THIS watch.......
Ivanhoe

yep, it was 'one' of those posts that got a little hot under the collar, BUT we can certainly say that we learn't something from it, which is the point of these discussions :-)
LOL...the good old days!
Now we see why William Scott is out panning for gold!
Unknown or Non-conforming...the dial with 17 Jewels printed on it has me scratching my head...2 years between case & movement is not that big of a deal...have to go scratch my head some more on this one.

Yep, I'd have to agree with OT at this point. From my experience it's mostly aftermarket dials the had the jewel count printed below Bulova. Of course, nothing to say Bulova didn't as we see it on alot of the 23 j mosels.

I think we had an entire discussion thread with ad and watch examples where Bulova did apparently place the jewel count on the dials- for 17 jewel watches as well. I'll look for the thread.
Also thinking Ivanhoe with some dial variant or redial or maybe aftermarket dial similar to that in Ivanhoe. Very similar to http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1954-ivanhoe-4265
never say never.
I had never seen 17 Jewels printed on a genuine Bulova Dial 'til one from the 1960's was pointed out, pointed out again and to this Day is still being pointed out.
Crow anyone?
Not that I am an 'expert' but by no means should this open the flood gates of acceptance as 99% of the Dials out there showing this signature are aftermarket.
I'm good w/ tentative Ivanhoe. I think we use a crystal ID and a illustration of an actors mustache for the ID? No ad if I remember correctly.
