replacement crown. -  serviced and working. -  movement is L6 and case is L5.  -  found a good bracelet for it.  -  hoping the dial is original   -  "tony" had a nice watch

I can't believe Tony was engraved that way....crazy....

Pretty sure is the President "B" variant with the black dial.

Here is another example of case dating a Bulova watch does not work.

This design of the 'PRESIDENT' was new in 1956.

Yes but like car models they might have been introduced a few months before to capture the Christmas rush.   This is for sure a very late 1955 model.
