Bulova 1955 Minute Man

Here is an interesting one that doesn't fit the norm for dating. There are currently 5 of these in the database dated by the movement (L5).  This is upload #6. The stainless case backs bear no date code and all 6 have a serial number starting with a 5.

A curious deviance from the accepted dating formula. The ad is dated 1955 as well. Watch is mounted on a correct period NOS leather strap and keeps time.
