Greetings,
Well, if the caseback is indeed stamped "L4" then this case design and movement, etc. are then consistent with the 1950/1 "Director" models, previously posted here...

The pictures above are not in the archieves under "Director 1954". My 1951/52 dial is the same as the rectangular shaped Director dials in the archieves. I'll probably wind up naming my watch an Aviator A with a 1949 Director dial LOL.
