1939 Bulova Director
Case is 10K Gold Filled, curved profile, dated to 1939, inside last three of s/n 452 etched in Roman Numeral; USA 21-jewel movement with Shield datestamp, 7AP model; clean dial - may be too nice to be original, not sure; looks to be the original bracelet.
Well done Ken! 1939 Bulova Director, this one is in excellent condition
Man, that is clean, nice!
1939 Bulova Director on the original band
Wow, I don't think this one saw much wrist time. Band certainly looks the part.
It's always nice to see something pre 1940 pop up in this condition. They are still out there.

Wow Ken, that is gorgeous! Well done.

1939 Bulova Director on the original band is a good match.
Very nice, what is the "AAA" stamping on the movement? Is it an import code of some kind?

It's a statement of movement quality.

I have always wondered what made a movement qualify for the "AAA" stamping. Anyone know? The stamping isn't that common.
