Watch Description
I inherited this watch from my grandfather and believe it to be a 1951 Windsor. It is missing the case back but still works. I am looking for a new case back for it and also wondering if it needs to go somewhere and get cleaned, maintenance or any such thing.

A 1951 Bulova Windsor is a good ID.
Case back would look something like this:

Agree with Windsor.
If you plan to use it then a service is advised, but best to first acquire a caseback to protect the movement.

Any recommendations to have it serviced?

1950 Bulova Windsor is a good match here. This model watch was just featured in a scene on the Netflix movie "Our Little Secret" See the link below.
