The watch face says Excellency. I am just not sure which model. It has an L1 on the case back and the movement piece. So I assume it is 1951. The glass is pretty scratched up. Inside of case back is Bulova, Fifth Ave, New York and a very faint signature (I think). The diamonds are not real and there are 2 missing (have photo if you need it).
According to a local Bulova dealer it works.
Hello and welcome to myBulova! Thank you for sharing your watch with us.
Your watch is a Her Excellency "CC". The Her Exellency line had so many pretty watches. The band will be a replacement band which is very common with the bands wearing out faster than the watch. It is nice that it is works.

Thank you. Are the bands usually made by Bulova or not necessarily? The inside of the band says "10KT GF TOP CAPS, STAINLESS BACK"
In reply to Thank you. Are the bands by rmeyerstx
Normally bands are manufactured by a third party. Bulova did make some but usually branded them accordingly. The advet posted by Kathy describes the original expansion band.

Nice little watch, I agree that the band is probably a later addition.
