What crystal did you order? I tried a Perfit mb208/2 for my Allerton but the width was off quite a bit and wasn't close to fitting.

Thanks for the info. I would love to know if it fits when you get it as I will pick one up for myself.

CMT277 (20.8x20.3)will fit!! As the package was lost, i have found a CMT278-10 (20.8x20.6) in my stash of 400+ crystals. Just a little hand sanding on each botom side ( left + right ) and it fit perfectly!!!! I updated pictures as you can see it fit perfectly. No doubt even you just found the CMT277 are used for Elgin watch it will fit as the crystal was original!!!! take a look at these two following picture! Subject pictures watch changed!/sites/default/files/uploaded_photos/user24327/Screenshot_20250123_213905.jpg

Thanks for following up. If I'm understanding your post correctly you didn't receive the CMT277 but were able to fit the CMT278-10.  Do both of those crystals have the same profile? I've had crystals with the correct dimension but the case contours were such that it didn't fit. Did you have to sand the  the top and bottom and left and right sides?

I'm not sure what you mean by, "No doubt even you just found the CMT277 are used for Elgin watch it will fit as the crystal was original". I don't understand what that means.

Hi GuyMontag!

CMT277 was lost in the shipping.

Yes i was able to fit the CMT278-10.

Juste by sanding down a bit the left and right but refer to the first following picture

/sites/default/files/uploaded_photos/user24327/Screenshot_20250124_005128.jpg

as you can see i just sanding it with an angle near the botom side of the crystal to help to fit .

and last question,  the cmt277 is supposed to fit directly! cause its the same shape and curve but no sanding at all if my eye and math a right ! as my picture show for the cmt 277, GS co. made it first for a Elgin watch model but fit prerty good on the BULOVE ALLERTON .

...if any question remain, feel free  to ask anymore questions ! 😃
