Do I see A9 on the case back? Case date takes precedence over movement. If it is indeed A9, watch is a 1949.
It's hard to tell from your pics if the lugs are the same as this one and this one. I believe your watch may be a

I have another, almost identical, with different lugs, I will post later
ID came down to the shape of the lugs, rounded versus angled.
The Cadet model has the angled lugs and the Allerton the rounded, as per the subject watch.
It's a very nice/clean example.
