1951 Academy Award "O". Just received. Replaced the broken band and wiped it off, so far that's it. Purchased as "probably just needs a battery". It started running with a 3/4 turn of the crown and is currently keeping accurate time. Interesting Roman numeral "pie pan" dial on a 21J movement in a case very similar to the Duo Wind and Thayer of the same time period. Case back and movement both marked L1.
Ad is dated 1952.

Thanks Kathy, this variant seems to pretty much be a style "stand alone" as far as AA models we have ID'ed. The dial on this example is an odd slightly mottled but even champagne color, whereas all other ID'ed "O" models sport more of a silver/white. I highly doubt it's "factory" and suspect it's age toning that is often called out as a "tropical dial".
