Picked this one up to have an example of this model.  I believe it is an Academy Award "EE" although it may have not been able to confirm that with an ad but do have an ad without a variant for the white variant. 

It has a 10K white gold filled case dated stamped L1.  The working 21 jewel movement is also date stamped L1.

All 1951 Bulova Academy Award, and I also suspect the "EE" variant, but will hold off confirming until we see an advert.

Another winner, Kathy. Really like the lug setup on this one, very unique.

1951 "AA", variant to be determined; but quite likely "EE"
