ASHFORD like the current one in the database, but this one is SOLID 14K Gold. It also has a "railroad track" minute indicator and the seconds dial is a different design. May want to list as a varient??

Different jewel count, dial and the "knots" in the lugs are flat, not round.
Not Ashford.
Haven't found an advert to match up with. Saw one of these on our favorite selling site just recently but didn't bid on it.
Unknow for me.
Agree w/ Bobbee on differences from Bourg01's Ashford here. 1951 ad snippet from that record below:

Not an Ashford but I also have this watch and have not been able to ID it yet. I think there may be something new in the forum ads if I recall correctly.
Found this in 50's decades, but lugs and dial don't match:
From Bobbee The Corsicana Daily Sun, Texas December 1955

Nice find Will, Sherwood it is. Hard tomsee the lugs in the ad though but the dial and description match the subject watch. IMO

Shawn- I don't think it's the Sherwood? Ad from 1955. I was thinking this was the ad you may have seen in the decades thread that was similar. Solid gold, similar dial/jewel count, but the lugs.....different.
Sherwood looks like the later President case, but solid gold.
There is a little clearer ad for the Sherwood from 1959, states that it also comes in white gold, and a choice of dials.

yes unknown from me for now too
