Hello, This is an Academy Award "D". I had been watching this one for quite some time and finally broke down and bought it. It has been serviced and is in pretty nice condition. It was the last ladies AA that I hoping to add to my collection.
21 jewel 6BC movement date stamped A9, 14KT yellow gold case date stamped L0, gold curtain dial.
An advertisement that was run a lot. The AA “D” completes the gals.
Nothing like completing the set - well done! Doesn't it seem like you needs the mens models now too?

Thanks Geoff. That would be nice wouldn't it! But they are so pricey I think I will stick to the ladies. I did pay mens prices for this one but it was serviced and I really wanted to complete this set. See why I can't start another lol

Thank you Bob! I am happy with what I have been able to find and would be ok if that was it. But I do like the AA "HH" and "L" and would be happy to have either of those come along.
