Bulova 1950 Academy Award

Hi all

I believe this little beauty is a 1950 Academy Award B ladies watch.

The case is marked, Bulova 10k Gold filled  LO  and the serial number 255180. on the outside. On the inside Bulova . Fifth Avenue. New York.The movement is a 6BC 21 jewel unadjusted. and is marked A9.

the bracelet is marked . Speidel 56 expanding gold plated.

The crown is marked Bulova

Looking through the adverts in the db. the watch has the same dial and case as the A.A B in the 1950 advert. although the strap is different.

There seems to be very little ware to either the case or strap, but it does require a new crystal. the watch runs but will need a service.
