Hello, Picked up this one this week just to have an example of it, an Academy Award "A". The 6BC 21 jewel movement is dated A9 unfortunately isn't working but has a nice gold curtain dial. It is 10k gold filled and the case that is dated L0. I had picked up a spare band for the "J" so I was able to use that for this watch.
And I finally got a box. Alas not in great condition but glad to have an example until I can find a better one.
I've always liked these dials on the AA series of watches, a very unique feature with Bulova Academy Award watches that help easily identify them.

Thanks all! I have been trying to only buy watches that are working but these aren't very common so I thought it was worth picking up especially since I had the extra band : )
