I was pleased to pick this one up this week. I believe this is Her Excellency "U". Possible hand replacement but otherwise in really nice condition. It is 14K white gold with 2 diamonds, 1 on each end. The 21 jewel 6BA movement is working nicely. I replaced the band with a NOS cord band like it would have had originally.
Yes Her Excellency "U" will be, but I would have dated them to 1949 due to the case number

Thank you jabs. I think it is interesting that they dated the cases starting with a letter in the 40s but not on the 14k cases. I agree on the date, thanks.

Lovely watch; wondering if the hands should be the darker color instead of yellow. I've seen white gold cases with yellow hands, but usually with the matching gilt markers on the dial.
