I found this watch in my mom's jewlery. It may have been hers or my grandmoms
I took a guess at the year because ther are no letters under the serial number on the case back.
While the watch needs a good clean it runs and keeps time
I don't know anything about watches. I do think this one is delicate and cute...not very technical.
The band is leather. It says 14k gold on the back of the case.
I don't have the best camera but offer a picture or 2.
There are 2 diamonds on the case.
A BULOVA "LADY EXCELLENCY" model, akin to one in this Dec., 1949 Saturday Evening Post Ad:

Thanks Scott
That bottom left picture sure looks like the watch.
I guess I should take it to a jewler and have it cleaned up.
Is there some way I could find out what its worth?
Thanks Again,
Susan
Hi susantr! Your watch is a Her Excellency "U" like this one https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1949-her-excellency-9671 without seeing the movement date I would date your watch at 1948 by the case serial #. I hope you are enjoying this lovely heirloom watch.
Agreed, Ner Excellency "U"
