This is my latest restoration from my junk Bulova pile. It appears to be a 1948 Watertite. The mono-case is stainless steel with a 48 date code. The movement is a 17j 10BCC sweep second movement. The dial is printed with black hour markers and a minute track. I relumed the hands but have yet to polish the case. There is a small scratch on the dial and the back is scratched from someone trying to open it from the back. I can't seem to find
Jim - do we have an advert that shows this dial?
In reply to Jim - do we have an advert… by Geoff Baker
This is the closest I could find.

Above advert certainly shows the minute markers and 5 minute intervals.
Even the lugs and how they curve are a nice match to the advert.
I'm comfortable with a 1948 Bulova Watertite.
1948 Bulova Watertite - nice one!
I'll agree. Nice one!
