This watch is 14k rose gold plated with a stainless steel back. It has an 8AH, 17 jewel movement stamped 48 although the data base here only shows 1945 for this movement. I removed the crystal for the front photo because the crystal has considerable scratching at the present time. The plating with the signature appears to have come off the crown. It looks like the Spencer in the 1947 ads on here to me with the exception of the hour and minute hands. ....................................................................................................................................................

I still haven't gotten the hang of putting pictures on here. I apologize for that.
Spencer, not many about.
Spencor our a senator, I have to look at the ads again. If i recall Sencer had tube lugs. gotta o look but no time now.
Yeah, this dial with the rose gold is a Spencer in 1947 ad, but in 1948 ad the Senator in rose gold is only mentioned with a dial with gilt numbers.
The pics are great, by the way!
Spencer it is then.
Spencer had both cases I think. I'm good with the Spencer.
Spencer for me also.
Going with the crowd on "Spencer"
