My Wife found this one out shopping. She was very excited that it was still working. Looks to be from 1927-28 time period similar to the Magnolia.
This is more likely from 1948.
The 1920's models were usually more ornate and most often white gold finish.
This looks like a His Excelency model with either a 7AK or 7AP movement.

Thanks, I didn't notice the similar features in the 1940 models, but I see the similarity now.
And it is in FABULOUS condition.
Those dials don't normally look this great after almost 69 years

I agree that it resembles the His Excellency SS but would like confirmation of the jewel count before I commit. MGD, can you please opo the back off and give us an update on the number of jewels AND the date code on the movement?
