I bought this watch today at a garage sale and I need your help identifying the model. I believe it is 1948 Her Excellency. It currently doesn't run and needs to be cleaned up. It has Bulova on the dial, inside case reads Bulova Fith Ave New York, back of the case has Bulova 10K Gold Filled with the case number I043593, The letter capital i is before the case number.
I believe it to be a,1948 Her Excellency H,
I agree with your ID. Still trying to track down the variant letter for this case in yellow gold with Roman Numeral face.
Rose Gold was "G" and White Gold was "H"
1948 Her Excellency she is.
Agreed that the yellow gold version has yet to be assigned a variant. I've just spent an hour revisiting a bunch of advert, but could not find the yellow good version.
1948 Her Excellency
Agree - 1948 Bulova Her Excellency
Very nice, my guess is this is an "F" like this one https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1949-her-excellency-9700 but there is not an ad to support that. I do not believe the dials affect the variant in the Her Excellency line but this is only my personal opinion.
1948 Bulova Her Excellency
Michael can you confirm the case color on this watch please? It looks white to me now which would be the "H" variant.
