Watch Description

Hello,  This is Her Excellency "B" that is white gold filled.  Far less common to her sister watch, Her Excellency "A" that is yellow gold filled.  I have been keeping my eye out for one of these and one finally came up.  It has a 10K white gold filled case, 21 jewel 6AK working movement.  I have a NOS cord band for it but I quite like the one that came on it.  This was probably a graduation gift as the young lady was 18 in 1947.  Will have a comparison shot with the Her Excellency "A".

LOL Geoff too many.  Just a few on my wishlist left.  Focusing on the ladies AA and Her Excellency lines but keeping my eye out for a ruby cocktail watch as well.  That one might take some time to find the right one.

Looks real nice! I agree, the white gold versions are sometimes harder to find.

Thanks Ken.  They really pushed the Her Excellency "A", it is the most advertised of all the Her Excellency line I think.  It is interesting to see how the popularity of different case colors goes in and out over the decades.  Yellow and pink gold seemed the most popular in the 40s.

Hi Kathy!

My name is Sarah. I received your information from my cousin, Kate. This was my maternal grandmother’s watch. I’d love to chat with you about the watch! Please feel free to reach out via email when you have some time!
