This appears to be a 1947 Bulova Commando.   Late year for this model.  The case is yellow gold plate with a stainless back.  The movement is a 10BC 17J with a 47 date code. The dial has yellow gold applied hour markers.

I would also go with Commando model for this year; I don't find any other name in 47.
