Need to replace the crystal, but confused on model of watch. Looks like an ARNOLD? Could you good people help with identiftying this watch and a glass crystal I need to purchase. Thank you!
It definitely isn't a 49 Arnold or Bruce; lugs are quite different. I went through the full page ads and database from 1946 to 1949 and come up empty. Cool design, but unfortunately it's an unknown for me.. Is the case stamped A9? If not, this may be a pre-1949 case with a newer movement. If there is no date code, then case s/n would suggest 1942, which means I was looking in the wrong place.

The case back is stamped A9. Interesting about the serial number. Thanks for help neetstuf-4-u
Movement is stamped 'A9' which equals 1949, yet the case starts with a '2' suggest 1942, suggesting a movemebt swap.
For the sake of ID purposes I'll focus on the case and dial, noting that the movement is a later replacement.

Will do! Thanks for your help
There is a Bulova Lexington model also, but model looks to alsoun-engraved.
One possibility is the 'Commando', just need to match up the lugs.

Advert dates to 1943.
Here is a Bulova Commando photo.

Good call Stephen, 1949 Commando......That certainly looks like a match to me.
