Watch Description
On 4/11, a 1945 ad was posted, identifying half a dozen unidentified watches as "American Clipper". Coincidently, on the same day, I obtained this one. It's unique from the others in one respect. The movement is a 17 jewel 10BCC. The movement date code suggests 1946, which matches the case back. Up to this point, the earliest 10BCC in the database has been 1948.

Beautiful watch... although it's a little later, I still think we're good with the American Clipper.

American Clipper, indeed!
Dr. Ranfft lists the 10BCC date range starting in 1946, FWIW.
