Case is 26mm diameter, dial has an unique outer 1-12 hour track & inner dial is 13-24 hour track Has the same case as the Air Warden & Black Hawk watches of the same era. The seller called it a Pan Am.Pilots Watch. It certainly doesn't have the size nor the easy read luminous hands & dial of an aircrew watch.
I was on that one too Jerin, forgot to bid lol !!!!!
Lucky you didn't bid. Did you see the lug condition. Not a good deal!

I'll THIRD that?
And indeed... looks very much like a GRUEN "Pan Am!" (And other "Bulls Eye" dials+)

Hi Wayne, Post WWII watch in the Military style but I believe this was a boys watch. Slightly smaller tham men's of the era. I restored one like this for my Son a few years back, had an ad with the model but I can't find it now. Must have been packed away or lost when I divorced and moved out. Wish I could find it for the folks here. Sorry.
Does case SN suggest 1946 for this example?
Yes, '46
These watches are so close to the Gruen watches. We may never find an ad for them as they are such an obvious copy of the official Pan-Am watches by Gruen, even though they all did copies of each others styles, such as the military style watches of the time.

Nailed it Plainsman, excellent research leading to an illusive ad. American Clipper it is.
American Clipper she most certainly is.
