Watch Description

I would appreciate any information on the watch I received from my fathers estate. The peice works and I was going to start wearing it and wonder if I should get additional insurance. The other option is to put the watch in the lock box to give to my grandson at a later date.

What I know about the watch:

It has engraving on the back from my mother to my father in 1945

appears to be a President model

Is this watch a President model? and what would the approx. value be for insurance purposes?

It is a President model but I don't recall the variant. There's a few in the database.As or value, Sorry but we don't evaluate watches. there's just too many variables to be considered. Enjoy wearing it but do get it serviced before you do and then every 3-4 years and it will still be around for your GrandSon.

Wow - ANOTHER family heirloom from the post war years. Congratulations Bob, I think these family watches really are priceless heirlooms, I hope you cherish it forever.
