Another SOLID 14 K. Date code is confusing shows a T and an X - either 1942 or 1943. I could do find one in the MyBulova Advertisements, but there is one in the Search Database listed as 1942 UNKNOWN. Looks to be same case, but this on is 14K
Ken, it actually looks like your movement is triple stamped. T - '42, X - '43, and O - '44. It's not unusual to see a double stamped movement but a triple date is more rare. The O date is consistent with your '44 serial #.
Great watch, I also have the same one entered as a '44 Unknown.
Any idea why a movement would have multiple date codes??
Ken S
Probably unused stock. The movement was originally assembled in '42, that's why the T code is gold like the rest of the engraving. The other 2 codes were hand stamped later.
President.... I do believe they came in the solid gold now and again. Nice watch.
EDIT... wait.. wrong lugs.. my bad.. Unknown
Unknown model
Great triple date-code mvnt. ID is unknown from me for now...
President seems close, but the advert I have was a crapy one.

Looks like a match to me Stephen. '44 President not '42.
Yep a close enough match for me too. 1944 President. And it looks like it had the same base model name in either yellow or pink gold. I betcha there were letter variants for each, but we arn't going there in this ID :)
I'm good with that ad.... nice find Steve.
