To Me this ad seems dated wrong, the technology for the 'WATER TITE' did not exist in 1930.

You better do some googling,
"Waterproof" or "resistent" case design was started in the early 1920's and in 1926 Rolex Developed and sold the first waterproof case called the "Oyster" (did you ever wonder where the name came from?) and like all watchmakers do, it was copied ASAP, so the technology existed at least 4 years before this ad if not more, and this is not opinion, it is fact.

Facts are there are no other ads for this Watch from 1930 - 1943 and no examples of the Watch in the database during that same time.

Yes, but mine differs from the poster's in a rather crucial respect--I have a center sweep seconds hand while the poster's has a subdial that matches the 1930 ad.
We really need to know what's under the hood of the poster's watch. He may, in fact, have the first example we've seen of the 1930 Watertite.

It makes perfect sense that he would have been doing promotional ads in 1930--he started doing them in 1929, after he won a bunch of Olympic medals and broke 67 world swimming records. Who better to have advertise your first waterproof watch in 1930?
I think everything about the 1930 Watertite ad makes sense.

The ad isn't about strength, it's about being waterproof. The guy was a famous swimmer at that time. In the ad he is swimming wearing his new waterproof watch. Has nothing whatsoever to do with movies or Tarzan. It's a no-brainer.
