We have since gained ad information that indicates that the rose colored watch & dial is the Alderman & the yellow colored watch & dial is the Stamford.

syfre  Do you have any info on the inside case back signatures?  I'm beginning to think the Alderman was all USA war year model and had "sterling base" New York sig on inside case back .....but I've been wrong before....
