Watch Description

14K Gold Filled and Bulova stamp on back of square face of watch. Given to me as a birthday present in the 1990s.  I don't have any further history.  I have never had it refurbished and it works and keeps time very well.  I only wear it on special occasions as , presumably, it's a dress watch.  The bracelet is worn and the base metal shows through in some places.

Many models had dial variations so I think your watch is the middle watch with one of the many known dial styles. Unfortunately this one isn't named.

Also thinking that this is actually a mens watch.

Thanks very much for the  advertisement photo.   How interesting.

 I put the date of the model of my watch as 1942 when uploading details because there seemed to be no option for "date unknown".  I have not clue as to the date of the watch but perhaps panel members will know.

I meant to add to your comments.  Yes, I can see this is a men's version of the watch.

The advert appears to be  from 1943 so perhaps my guess of 1942 as date of model is not too far off.

Based on the serial number beginning with 1 I would say 1941 model year.  I'm not sure of the model name.
